stupid static site generators
I've been playing with jekyll and hugo site generators for the last few days. Good grief! What a waste of time it was for me! I get that programmers might be better suited for these tools for putting together a portfolio site or something, but from setting up github to editing configs, getting templates working, version mismatches between different operating systems, then posts not rendering... wow! I'm defeated on that front... I might give Haven or Ghost a try. Maybe even a self hosted wordpress!
